Visiting a church for the first time can be pretty scary. At Eberly’s Mill, you will feel at home the first time you walk through our doors. Here, you will experience encouraging, Biblical messages, friendly people and an enjoyable atmosphere. Here is a quick look at what you can expect during your first visit to Eberly’s Mill Church of God.
What should I wear?
We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. You’ll find all kinds of different styles of dress here. So if you’re having a hard time deciding between a suit and tie or some jeans and a hoodie, don’t sweat it. You’ll fit in either way.
What’s available for my kids?
At Eberly’s Mill, we know that, as a parent, you are concerned for the safety of your children. We also know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn. Our ministry for infants through 6th graders invests a lot of resources to make sure both of these goals are reached. Age appropriate classes that include music, Bible lessons, and activities are held during the worship service. If you have specific questions about these ministries, please contact the church office at (717)-761-3282.
EARLY Service: 9 AM
At this service, we start things off with our full worship band, complete with guitars, drums, vocals. We sing a few songs, and the lyrics will be available for you on the monitors, so it’s easy to follow along. The children join upstairs and are dismissed after the offering. There are lessons available for all ages…nursery through 5th grade. After our prayer time, Pastor Anthony speaks for about 20-25 minutes. We finish off with a song or two from the band. From beginning to end, the whole service lasts about an hour.
